Group Exhibition “OBID” at EYE SEA Gallery
The painting “Bread” was featured in the group exhibition “OBID” (Lunch) at the EYE SEA gallery in Kyiv (curated by Roman Mykhailov).
The project explores the theme of the meal as a multidimensional cultural, social, and bodily experience — from a daily necessity to a ritual of unity and a pause in time. Within the curatorial concept, the canvas “Bread” serves as a key semantic symbol of life-giving force, home, and memory. The depiction of slices of fragrant bread on a traditional woven rushnyk combines the tangible physicality of texture with the sacred perception of bread as the foundation of life, hospitality, and the unbroken bond between generations.
